Viji is the founder of Keva Global Partners. He oversees all activities of the firm, and manages client relationships. He has over 30 years of corporate, consulting, and board level experience. Viji has held executive positions at ConAgra, PwC, and Baskin-Robbins with overall responsibility for M&A and international business development. He has initiated and closed transactions involving private and public companies in N. America, India, the Middle East, and Australia. He also assists global clients in developing market entry strategies, and selection of joint venture partners.
Viji served on the Board of Directors at two publicly traded companies: Monterey Gourmet Foods (NASDAQ: PSTA) and ITC Agro-Tech Ltd. (BSE, India).
Viji earned a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Madras, India and an MS and MBA degree from the Illinois Institute of Technology, Chicago.
Arjun has over 10 years of experience in various consumer businesses, in analytic, consulting, and operating roles. At Keva Global, Arjun leads the firm’s business development and diligence efforts and has worked on a variety of transactions involving early-stage companies and startups. Arjun has also served as the Head of Marketing at a venture-backed food science firm. Prior to Keva Global, Arjun worked for Red Bull North America where he led a successful turnaround of the company’s two largest customer accounts, Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club. Arjun also worked for the Nielsen Company, consulting for Nestle USA.
Arjun earned a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin – Madison.
Matt has nearly 25 years of operational experience and has served in executive roles in the food industry for the past 15 years. Previously, Matt was President of Bare Snacks, where he spearheaded overall company strategy, expansion and growth until its successful sale to VMG Partners.
Prior to joining Bare, Matt served as President of Pan Pacific Foods, where he was responsible for managing the daily operations and overall performance of a portfolio of food-related companies. Each company in the portfolio, which spanned the seafood, snack, confection, beverage, industrial ingredient, frozen and prepared foods categories, saw both record sales and profits during Matt’s tenure.
Before finding his passion in the CPG world, Matt’s career was spent primarily in the technology sector. This included the role of President and CEO of ICE Communications, Inc., a telecommunications software company, which he led through a period of robust growth and eventual acquisition. Prior to ICE, Matt was the Director of Strategic Alliances for Visa USA. Matt spent his early career working for major communications companies Sprint International, MCI (now Verizon), and SBC (now AT&T).
Matt received his BBA with majors in Finance and Marketing along with a Spanish minor from the University of Iowa. He also holds a Master’s degree in Leadership Studies from Saint Mary’s College.
